Matthew 5: 21 – 26

These verses seem to elevate quite a few offenses to the level of murder as far as damnation goes. Basically it seems that anger towards others is of equal unworthiness fro entry in heaven. The idea that disagreements should be solved as expediently as possible is expressed twice, and that punishment for not doing so will be paid in full is also expressed twice. In our litigious-happy society the Christian notion of settlement before court was picked up by neither theists nor theists.
